SKEPTRON SOCIETY

Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity & Sorority exists to create a bridge between all men & women committed to seeking the social advancement of under-represented populations . The organization was founded on 1969 by Jose" Boy" Chua,William Ho,Roger Sarmiento ,Jusilito"Noli"Manalo and Jun Passaporte with the name Delta Kappa Rho and was constituted on the said date but was change into a body known as the ALPHA KAPPA RHO on august 8,1973.

Understanding the Services, our Brotherhood has pledged to Serve, begins by preserving its History. The vision, mission and hard work of our pioneers Shaped up what we are now, what we are protecting and what we are defending.
Loving always vary in many ways but every members love to Alpha Kappa Rho will never vary in enhancing the future of the Brotherhood. Inside our Brotherhood, variations aren't ruled out a hinder and for this reason. we always pledge to get our services involved.

SKEPTRON MISSION AND VISION

The Skeptron Mission is to offer the fraternal experience, focusing on Personal Character Development through Leadership, Scholarship, Community Service, And for the attainment of positive social experiences. 
It likewise works for the advancement of true fraternal ties imbued with respect, courtesy, understanding and love among fellow Skeptrons.

ALPHA KAPPA RHO'S HAND SHAKE

The thumb resting on the hand symbolizes the approval of a brother, the pointer finger, middle and ring, is Alpha Kappa Rho, touching the pulse, wrist and the mark (burn) symbolizes the entirety of your being as a skeptron, Burn= Born, Pulse= Live, Wrist= Die....

SEAL

The seal of this order shall be circular in outline consisting of an outer, middle, and an inner rim and the core or hub. The outer rim is set in a red background with the name of the institution, year of its foundation and its motto encrypted in bold yellow. The middle rim is set in silver while the inner rim is set similarly in a red with no encryption. The core or hub is likewise set in a silver background with the three Greek letters "AKP" for ALPHA KAPPA RHO encrypted in a continuous outline at the center in bold yellow.

MISSION

We the AKP WARRIORS have a mission to uphold LOVE for our brotherhood and sisterhood " ALPHA KAPPA RHO INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN SERVICE FRATERNITY AND SORORITY".

It is our RIGHTS AND OUR OBLIGATION to fight for it as WARRIORS! 

ALPHA KAPPA RHO CHRONOLOGICAL HISTORY

On August 8, 1973, the celebration of the Feast Day of St. Dominic, patron saint of the University of Santo Thomas, sixteen young, all male, energetic and ambitious freshmen and sophomore students of this university, sharing the same interest, dreams and ambitions, form their own kind of fraternal organization – the Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity. This was during the tumultuous early years of martial rule in the Philippines. However the time was then, these young men, guided by the almighty, bonded themselves together as one.

PREAMBLE

We the members of ALPHA KAPPA RHO INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN SERVICE FRATERNITY AND SORORITY,, beseech for the guidance of ALL MIGHTY GOD, that we conscientiously uphold the value of true brotherhood and compassion. To always seek the TRUTH, to love, promote, and preserve peace and the welfare of brotherhood. And to support the remain loyal to the tenets of this ORDER and above all, to commit ourselves to building a stronger bond with family, community and country.
